Thoughts

Released on Friday, May 30th of 2025, Dani Ela's first official EP is a carefully curated selection of songs, each unique in their own right but all fitting into the theme and emotional feel that these "thoughts" having been put into song, each evoke. 4 tracks in total, each telling a different story, on top of a layer of acoustic guitar, filled with atmospheric pads, piano and harmonies that are uniquely Dani's sound- you will want to listen again and again to soak up all of the little details that so beautifully speak to you.

"You"- The first track of the album, released one week earlier, was written by Dani a couple of years before the following 3 songs were born. Dani entrusted the production of the track to producer Kevin Michel, who brought a subtle string theme towards the end that only compliments and enriches the delicate vocal layers that carry the song. Sitting ontop of softly picked acoustic guitar by the professional hands of Jean-Christophe Guer from France (who also played on Dani's previously released track titled "Always Keep Those Days") "You" is a sure to be a fan favourite.

The other three tracks comprise of a cowrite between Dani and hit Nashville songwriter Marty Dodson (I'm Letting Go- produced by Dani Ela), Artist and Producer Jeffrey Scornavacca (A Step Too Far - produced by Jeffrey)- while "Let Me Be" is a solo effort all around, both being written, performed and produced solely by Dani herself.

This small body of work showcases the intricate details of Dani's songwriting and production efforts, and is in stark contrast to her previous Pop and EDM genre releases. You can expect more from Dani in this vein, which ultimately leads to share the unique versatility in which she can successfully create.
